Based in Quincy, Illinois, Garth Baecker began his career as a sales and inventory control professional with Brinkmanship Oldsmobile Cadillac in Pekin. His responsibilities in this role involved sales, ordering, and floor-planning for new automobile inventory. He subsequently spent nearly four decades as a sales representative and special agent at Country Financial and Insurance Company in Bloomington. During his time in this position, Garth Baecker earned multiple All Star and All American sales awards, including designation as a master agent. He also founded The Baecker Agency, which he led as president.
Garth Baecker studied English at Western Illinois University, earning a master’s degree. He spent three years as an English and journalism instructor at the Roosevelt Military Academy in Aledo. He achieved his chartered financial advisor designation at the Life Insurance Institute in Bloomington.
Mr. Baecker’s community involvement includes multiple terms as board president of the United Church of Christ. He also served as the president of Western Association and the Illinois Conference Board.
